black and white cookies

Yield: 24 cookies

Cookie mixture:

1 cup margarine
2/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 cups flour

White frosting:

1 cup confectioner's sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
5-1/2 tablespoons boiling water
1/2 tablespoon oil
1 drop lemon juice

Black frosting:

3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1-1/2 tablespoons boiling water
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 tablespoon oil

Make Cookies:

Mix and refrigerate 2-3 hours. Make balls with floured hands. Bake at 375F for 10-15 minutes. Cool and frost flat side 1/2 black 1/2 white.

Frostings:

The frosting will be watery. Spoon it onto the flat side of the cookie and let it set.
