Crescent Cookies

Yield: About 2 dozen cookies

2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 lb. unsalted margarine
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cold water
4 tbsp. superfine sugar, mixed with 1 tsp. sugar

Preheat oven to 375°F. Sift flour. Cut in margarine and knead gently together.

Add sugar, nuts, vanilla, and water. Shape into crescents.

Bake about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Gently remove from pan. Dip into mixture of superfine sugar and cinnamon.
